Normal service will be resumed
Earlier this year I was looking forward to a nice, relaxing summer break when I could dedicate myself to nothing more arduous than going to the beach. Instead, my house has been turned upside down by builders, electricians and tilers, and I haven't been able to blog as often - but "normal service" should be resumed next week.
If, like me, your working life is in chaos, you can warn that projects might not get finished on time with phrases like these:
We're working flat out on…
We're up to our eyes with (name of project)
We've got our hands full with…
I can't see us being able to finish ….. until at least ….
Please bear with us at the moment. We should have everything sorted out by…
