Holiday wishes

In the UK, this Friday ("Good Friday") is a public holiday. The following Monday ("Easter Monday") is also a public holiday, which gives workers four days off in a row. Unlike at Christmas, people tend not to send Easter cards (except perhaps to family members), and many people use the four-day break to go away somewhere on holiday.

Here are some useful phrases to wish people a happy holiday:

Holiday wishes

Happy Easter!
Have a good holiday.
Enjoy your holidays.
Have a good one! (You'd say this after someone else wishes you a happy holiday and it's obvious that "one" refers back to the holiday.)

Asking people about their plans

Are you doing anything special over Easter?
Got anything planned for the holidays?
Are you going anywhere nice at Easter?
